DANCE FLOORING
All of our subfloors work on the principle that a dance surface should function as a continuous surface. We construct our floors like the construction of a drum, wherein a continuous diaphragm is designed to oscillate within a rigid perimeter. Unlike many other dance flooring subfloors, we connect panels together continuously along joints, rather than hinging panels against each other. Moreover, we stagger closed cell polyethylene foam pad sizes and locations to create as even a diaphragm as possible. We have subjected our floors to professional testing per ESTA (Entertainment Standards Testing Association) E1.26 (2006) and DIN 18032 standards, and use that data to assure consistency. Our floors offer shock absorption at 61% - 64% and standard point deflections with less than 3% variance throughout.
