DANCE FLOORING: Rosco SubFloor Information for Studio Owners
Rosco finish floor products should be installed semi-permanently or temporarily over the Rosco SubFloor. We do NOT recommend permanent installation using adhesive and welded seams over the Rosco SubFloor. Semi-permanent installation uses double stick tape on all seams and along the center of each strip of floor, with the seams cold welded using a chemical solvent. Temporary installation uses either cloth or vinyl tape to adhere the floor.  The Rosco SubFloor can also be finished with ¼” Duron - hardboard - painted on two sides, and screwed down on 12” centers for multi-purpose or stage applications. We recommend a good latex epoxy floor paint, (such as California AllFlor), and this can be sealed with a polyurethane finish or left unsealed.
